Dawn Ranch

I absolutely love this place! It is the perfect little getaway spot, the grounds are just so beautiful, the spa is amazing and the restaurant is amazing. The bar has lovely cocktails and it’s just the prettiest place.

We had a wonderful experience. Everything was great! The staff were particularly nice and made the stay very great. Shoutout to the breakfast team and the bar team at The Lodge. We interacted with them the most and they were incredible. Everyone at the property was awesome. Lovely experience

Dawn ranch isn’t your typical 4 star hotel and might not be everyone’s cup of tea. We booked this place last minute as we didn’t want to travel to the east coast during a winter storm, and that meant we didn’t do much research. We were pleasantly surprised by a few things, and had a good time overall. I was surprised that the front desk was only available until 8 pm on a Thurs, so we had to make arrangements for after hours check-in. We learnt only upon entering our room that the place is “screen free”, but the location and serenity of the place made it appropriate. S’mores in the evening were fun. We stayed on the “Grove” side, which I feel is a bit secluded with spotty WiFi (we couldn’t stream on our devices because of bad WiFi). Also, the refrigerator had frozen water inside it as it was turned all the way to the coolest setting. Despite all the negatives, I give this property a 4 star rating because of the staff, walking area, amenities and the spa (which is pricey!). The food at the restaurant was good, though not a lot of vegetarian options.

We went in February during the off season. We got the two bedroom, two bathroom cabin near the grove which was really nice with some minor issues. It was cozy, quiet and well appointed. Our cabin had a small deck off one of the bedrooms and a porch with some chairs. The water pressure and shower-head were amazing. The bed and pillows were insanely comfortable. The sink water got nice and hot, but the shower never really got very hot. Because it was raining we didn’t get to explore the property very much, but what we saw was very nice and well maintained. They had fire pits with smores, a pool (which was closed for the season) and a hot tub. We had a bit of an uneven experience at the Lodge restaurant (mainly related to different chefs), but it’s a really beautifully decorated space with friendly staff.

We came for my significant others' Birthday. We got the Grove 2 bedroom suite and it was everything the pictures on the website described. It was myself, her and her mother's. We spent a wonderful 2 days playing card games and enjoying our gas fireplace. We had spa procedures done and they were magnificent. Tracy was really good. This place pays attention to every detail of your stay. I was mind blown how accurate the service is. My only critique. Please build guest sauna and or steam rooms out by the pool. I could not purchase a daily pass at the spa for the sauna or steam rooms because they were booked. I was told a week prior I could check back day of the services and that it wouldn't be a problem. Then on the day of I was told I couldn't purchase a day pass. That was my only hiccup of my above and beyond experience.

Such a wonderful stay at Dawn Ranch! We had a two-bedroom cabin which had very comfortable beds and a cozy little fireplace and kitchenette so we could make ourselves a little cheese plate and pour a glass of wine. We loved exploring the property, it is so beautiful and conveniently located close to Main Street where we often walked to to visit a restaurant. Highly recommend and will definitely return!

We stayed in a cozy cabin in the woods and were so impressed with fantastic spa services and delicious food at Dawn Ranch! Breakfasts were great with house-made blueberry jam, wonderful pastries, and perfect eggs, but the real stunner was the “All That” tasting menu for dinner. The chefs have combined their expertise with soul from their heritages and the result is local ingredients, familiar flavors, done in interesting and delicious ways.

I came to Dawn Ranch in need of a solo, stress-free getaway. My stay didn’t start as I’d hoped, but the General Manager and Liberty handled things with a level of genuine care and hospitality that’s unfortunately pretty rare these days. They moved me to a fully private cottage which completely changed my experience and was exactly what I needed. Really appreciated how thoughtful and unfussy their help was. That kind of hospitality sticks with you. I’ll definitely be back. Also, I’d be remiss not to mention the food at the lodge - so good! Try their soft scrambled eggs for breakfast, and definitely the sourdough bread and butter at dinner.
